Training Features
- This model presents the appearance of an adult back half-body, consistent with the real human body posture in an upright sitting position during thoracentesis.
- Realistic bony landmarks are palpable on the body surface, including the scapulae, inferior angles of the scapulae, intercostal spaces and other structures, facilitating palpation for puncture site localization.
- The puncture sites selected are the most commonly used locations for thoracentesis in pleural effusion: the 7th–9th intercostal spaces along the posterior scapular lines on both the left and right sides.
