Pro-CT 110
Modular CT Quality Assurance Phantom - Diagnomatic by Pro-Project
Pro-CT 110 combines multiple test modules in a cylindrical phantom for acceptance and constancy testing of computed tomography systems. It supports checks of CT numbers, image noise, uniformity, contrast, resolution and slice characteristics.

Positioning and Test Capabilities
The phantom can mount on a CT table holder or an adjustable stand for measurements on or off the table. Positioning marks and leveling aids help align the phantom before testing.
- Geometric distortion, alignment and linearity.
- CT number (HU), noise, uniformity and artifacts.
- Contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR), contrast and low-contrast resolution.
- Spatial resolution and modulation transfer function (MTF).
- Slice sensitivity profile (SSP), slice profile and beam width.
- Line spread function (LSF) and point spread function (PSF).
Technical Specifications

|---|---|
| Overall length | 200 mm |
| Main body | Cylindrical container with a PMMA lid at one end and a permanently attached homogeneous module at the other |
| Lid hole array | 2 mm diameter holes, 10 mm deep, spaced at 10 mm intervals |
| Mounting | CT table holder or adjustable stand |
| Accessory | Carrying case |
Test Modules
| Homogeneous | PMMA module, 100 mm diameter × 20 mm thick. |
|---|---|
| Low contrast | PMMA module, 100 mm diameter × 20 mm thick. Rods are 10 mm high with diameters of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. Contrast differences relative to the surrounding material are 0.3%, 0.6% and 1%. |
| Sensitometry / contrast | 100 mm diameter × 20 mm thick. The 15 mm diameter rod samples and PMMA body provide reference materials: PTFE, LDPE, POM-C, air, plastic water equivalent and PMMA. |
| Geometry | 100 mm diameter × 20 mm thick. Two aluminum wire ramps have a slope angle with a tangent of 0.5. |
| Spatial / high-contrast resolution | 100 mm diameter × 20 mm thick. Nineteen concentric high-contrast elements cover 4 to 22 line pairs/cm. |
| LSF / PSF | Two 0.2 mm diameter tungsten carbide beads for MTF and SSP calculations; a PTFE/PMMA interface for LSF; and a 0.025 mm stainless steel wire in air for PSF. |
| Water-filled | 100 mm diameter × 23 mm thick, with a screw opening for filling and draining. |
Standards and Documentation
Diagnomatic lists IEC 61223-3-5, IEC 61223-2-6, and AAPM or ACR guidelines for this phantom. The manual covers test procedures, assessment of results and recording of measurements. Technical specifications can be adapted to customer requirements.
