CT Colonography Phantom NCCS - PH-49 - Kyoto Kagaku
Innovative study tool for safe and effective CT colon screening
The PH-49 CT Colonography Phantom NCCS is a life-size lower torso phantom developed for virtual colonography and CT colon screening studies. Interchangeable cylindrical colon units can be positioned at the ascending colon, descending colon and rectum.
Four colon units are supplied. Each unit contains six simulated targets arranged along its inner wall. Contrast agent can be poured into the units for tagging studies, and a pencil-shaped ion chamber can be inserted at the center of the phantom for CTDI measurement.

Materials:
- Soft tissue: urethane-based resin (density 1.06)
- Synthetic bone: epoxy resin (density 1.31)
- Handle carefully and protect the phantom from drops, impacts and organic solvents
- Clean with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent
- Store away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and high humidity
- Do not mark the phantom with a pen or leave printed materials in contact with its surface
