LUNGMAN phantom with an open bronchus for bronchoscope
The PH-1D is a bronchoscopy-compatible chest phantom with an open airway and pulmonary vessels. The hollow trachea and bronchi allow a bronchoscope to be passed into the airway up to the fourth-to-fifth branches.
The phantom produces close-to-human medical images under plain X-ray, CT, and fluoroscopy. It combines bronchoscope access with radiographic imaging for a clear comparison between the bronchoscopic view and the bronchoscope position shown in the radiograph.
