Life-size head phantom for MRI uniformity assessment
The PH-33 MRI Head Phantom NH is a life-size, liquid-fillable acrylic head phantom designed to assess image uniformity. Kyoto Kagaku identifies applications in MRI, CT and SPECT/CT.
The transparent head container has an approximate internal volume of 5,000 mL. A 10 mM nickel chloride solution is supplied for MRI use.

- Transfer the supplied solution into a suitable container before filling the head phantom
- Apply petroleum jelly to the sealing ring before replacing the lid
- T1 and T2 values are temperature sensitive; perform repeatable tests under consistent temperature conditions
- Allow the filled phantom to stabilize at room temperature for approximately 24 hours when consistent temperature is required
