Anthropomorphic chest phantom for respiratory gating
The PH-39 Dynamic Thorax Phantom is an anthropomorphic male chest phantom that represents human respiratory motion. Its moving diaphragm block and pulmonary nodule unit support respiratory-gating research and treatment-planning applications.
The pulmonary nodule and diaphragm can move independently with the selected respiratory cycle. The nodule unit provides both linear and rotational motion, while simulated nodules or a TLD can be installed for imaging and dose-measurement studies.

Care and Handling
- Do not operate the system continuously for more than two hours; allow at least 30 minutes of shutdown time every two hours
- Handle the soft-resin phantom and precision electrical components carefully
- Keep electrical components dry and store the system at room temperature away from heat, moisture, and direct sunlight
- Do not clean with thinner or other organic solvents
