Triple-Modality Biopsy Training Phantom Model 051         Model 051 Introduction Suspect lesions discovered in x-ray mammography must often be evaluated under ultrasound to aid diagnosis and in some cases, use of MRI may be indicated. This phantom is an ideal training device because it can be imaged under three modalities and was designed specifically for needle biopsy. Applications The Triple-Modality Biopsy Training Phantom is a disposable phantom that was designed to closely mimic the properties of the human breast, making it an extremely useful accessory for training technologists and physicians, as well as for verifying the proper operation of a mammographic biopsy system.
